Run ISOs On Your Phone

I remember the days working as an IT Admin going to client sites popping in a USB or CD/DVD’s to reinstall or fix their computer. Although they are light to carry, why not just use your phone?

A friend of mine turned me onto an Android app called “DriveDroid”. Unfortunately I have not seen or played with an iOS version but the tool works like a charm. I recommend checking it out:

Top Sysadmin Tutorials For Linux / UNIX

Years ago many of our networks were managed by Microsoft Windows but, today *NIX systems are growing in popularity in the server room and even in our own home. I and the majority of users on the TechCafe network use Linux from surfing the web to hosting servers. If you have not played with a Linux operating system, then I recommend giving it a try. ITS FREE, so why not?

Ramesh has put together 50 UNIX / Linux sysadmin related tutorials that I recommend bookmarking.

My favorite flavors of Linux:

Ubuntu
CentOS
OpenSUSE
Fedora
Linux Mint

TechCafe.Net 2.0

As you can see we’re redesigning our site so you will see several changes over the coming weeks to months. We are still the same community however we’re hoping to bring more to the table such as blog posts, gaming, etc.

Feel free to reach out to us if you would like to contribute or have any ideas.

Thanks,
